The release timeline varies across all music services / Digital Streaming Platforms (DSPs) and can take up to 3 weeks. Our team of metadata specialists reviews all releases within 72 hours (3 business days) after they are initially submitted into Level.
Please note that after our team reviews and approves releases to be sent to all DSPs, the release schedules are beyond our control and for this reason we strongly recommend careful planning with regards to the distribution timeline of your release.
We work closely with music services to deliver the best experience and keep you informed about the progress of your release. You'll be notified via email as your release is reviewed, approved, and available on DSPs.
Here is each DSPs' release schedule after it is reviewed and approved by the Level team:
OPTION A - If you selected 'ASAP' as go-live date for your release:
- iTunes & Apple Music: Within hours after delivered*
- Deezer: Within hours after delivered
- Spotify: 1-2 days after delivered
- Napster: 3 days after delivered
- Pandora: 3 days after delivered
- Google Music: 3 days after delivered
- Amazon Music: 3-5 days after delivered
- TIDAL: 3-5 days after delivered
*If they are not experiencing issues with the importer or unusual high content volumes being submitted. iTunes also randomly selects some releases to go through an internal store review process which can take up to 3 weeks.
OPTION B - If you selected a fixed day as go-live date for your release, then your release should go live simultaneously across all music services, on the day you have selected.
