The release timeline varies between music services and generally can take up to 3 weeks. If you've followed the guidelines set by the streaming services and digital stores, your release could be published within 48 hours upon submitting to Level.
Please note that release schedules are beyond our control as they are predetermined by the music services. We recommend proper planning prior to the distribution of your music. We work closely with the streaming platforms to provide the best experience to our artists and to keep you informed of your release progress.
Here is each music service’s approximate release schedule after we send your release through:
If you selected ‘ASAP’ as the go-live date for your release:
Spotify: 1-2 days after delivered
Apple Music & iTunes: Within hours after delivered*
TIDAL: 3-5 days after delivered
Amazon Music: 3-5 days after delivered
Pandora: 3 days after delivered
Napster: 3 days after delivered
Google Play: 3 days after delivered
Deezer: Within hours after delivered
*If they are not experiencing issues with the importer or unusually high volume of submissions. iTunes can randomly select some releases to go through an additional internal store review process which can take up to 3 weeks.
If you have selected a fixed day for your release to go live, then your release should go live on that day, simultaneously across all music services.
If you are re-uploading a release that has been previously released through another distributor, please contact Artist Support to implement the original release date for you.
