Streaming fraud describes the manipulation of track uploads or track streams on streaming services with the intention to maximize income through deceptive or illegitimate practices.
Level has the right to decline uploads during the approval process if our Artist Support team has reason to believe the tracks are being uploaded for the purpose of streaming fraud.
Releases or tracks that reach a certain threshold of abnormal activity will be flagged by the various digital stores and will be permanently taken down, effective immediately. Any streams or downloads for this content will be excluded from the royalty calculations and financial statements.
In accordance with Level’s Terms of Use, if we find this delinquent behavior associated with any of your releases, we reserve the right to permanently suspend your account, take down all of your releases, and any payment from fraudulent releases will be considered automatically forfeited.
