Update: On January 14, 2021, Level beta Premium trial will end.
Level beta was introduced in early 2018 to invite independent artists to help guide us on how best to serve your music. With the official launch of Level in June 2019, all beta artists were granted a free trial of Level Premium, so they could experience our platform without any restrictions.
Next year, we’re saying goodbye to Level beta and the free Premium trial in order to focus on improving the release experience and to ensure we can provide every Level artist the care your work deserves.
Any releases distributed during your time on a Level Premium trial or during the beta will not be affected, and you will still earn 100% of your royalties — learn more below.
What’s going to happen to my music?
All of your releases submitted before January 14, 2021, including those that have already been published, will be unaffected by these changes. If you plan to release more music, you will need to subscribe to Level.
How long will I have access to Level Premium / beta?
Level beta artists will have access to all of Level Premium features until January 14, 2021. To continue releasing new music after this date, you will need to subscribe for $20/year.
Will I still earn 100% of royalties on my releases?
Absolutely. You will continue to earn and retain 100% of royalties on any songs you release via Level.
Will my release analytics change?
There will be no changes to your analytics information, though we will be working on enhancing future versions of this feature.
Can I move my music elsewhere?
If you want to take your music distributed via Level down from stores, you can follow these steps.
